How to add components to an existing Kaleidescape System?
Strato SystemsKaleidescape Strato and Kaleidescape Alto can be linked to as many as three additional Strato or Alto players, and up to two Kaleidescape Disc Servers. A Kaleidescape Terra server can be added to the Strato system when additional storage is required. Servers, players and disc servers must have a wired network connection. Any player connected via wireless connection that is not activated will appear, but will not be available for linking. To link a new player, ensure the original Strato system is wired to the local network and that it is activated.
Adding new components to a Strato system is done from the browser interface.Premiere SystemsWhen a new component is installed on the local network where a single Premiere system exists, it is automatically added to the system. When a component needs to be added manually, this is done from the browser interface.Cinema OneCinema One (2nd generation) can be linked to one additional Cinema One (2nd generation), and a single DV700 or M700 Disc Vault. Players and the disc vault must have a wired network connection to be linked. Any Cinema One player connected via wireless connection that is not activated will appear, but will not be available for linking. To link a new player, ensure the original Cinema One system is wired to your home network and that it is activated.
Adding new components to Cinema One is done from the on-screen user interface, but a disc vault can also be linked from the browser interface. When an M700 Disc Vault is linked, the player functionality of the disc vault is disabled.
