Can I restrict children or guests from seeing certain movies?

The Kaleidescape System features parental controls that restrict access to movies and TV series based on the rating (e.g., TV-MA, R, NC-17, etc.). The restricted content remains hidden in the onscreen user interface until someone deliberately changes the parental control level — no titles, no cover art, no indication of any kind. Restricted content can be protected with a passcode, and on a Premiere system, the existence of the parental control level that contains the restricted content can be completely hidden, allowing it to only be accessed when someone blindly enters the passcode.

With the option of having different restrictions in each viewing zone, the kids player can be set up to only display content rated PG and below while the master bedroom player can be set up with access to all movies.
