Parental Controls
The Kaleidescape Experience has been designed with your entire family in mind. Movies are automatically classified by MPAA ratings such as G, PG and PG-13, so you can easily scan the movie list for a perfect film for the young ones. In addition, you can keep inappropriate films from appearing in the list by setting a movie rating limit for each room.
Child Remote and Child User Interface
To ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the Kaleidescape Experience, we are proud to offer the unique Child Remote and child user interface. Once any button on the Child Remote is pressed, the onscreen display automatically switches to the child user interface so that toddlers can easily find and enjoy their favorite movies. This text-free interface has been optimized for younger viewers and will only display the movies that you have selected for them. Only Kaleidescape can deliver this level of protection and fun to your home theater.
Common Sense Media Ratings
In order to help parents make informed decisions on what is and is not appropriate to watch with younger family members, Kaleidescape has integrated Common Sense Media ratings and guidance into the Kaleidescape App for iPad. Each review breaks down a movie's content, from violence and language to positive role models and messages. With more than 17,000 reviews and ratings of nearly 5,000 movies, Common Sense Media delivers guidance and context in their movie reviews beyond what the MPAA provides and makes it easier than ever to find the perfect movie for the whole family.
