Music and the Kaleidescape System

Pepper…again, the Kaleidescape System makes it incredibly easy to find exactly what you're looking for. Your entire collection is beautifully displayed in the Covers View, which automatically shuffles to display albums by the same artist or sharing a similar genre.
The List View also displays your entire music library and enables you to search by artist, album name, genre, release date and running time.
And Collections allows you to easily access works by classical composers, play one of your custom mix albums or create automated playlists of songs from any artist or genre.
But there is more to music on the Kaleidescape System than meets the ear. By taking advantage of the unique music features of the Kaleidescape App for iPad, you play, listen and learn like never before. As your music plays, this powerful app provides detailed biographies of your favorite artists, sort your album collection by decade, or create custom playlists on the fly. Your family and friends will love the ability to play DJ for a day as they keep the music going.
Kaleidescape Conductor
Removing the need to manage two music libraries, Kaleidescape Conductor is a PC application designed to automatically update your iTunes® library as new albums are added to your Kaleidescape System.
As music is synchronized from a Kaleidescape library to iTunes it is encoded in MP3 format at a user selectable bit rate, so that you can choose between highest quality and smallest file size. Kaleidescape Conductor also copies your albums' cover art and metadata from the Kaleidescape System and adds it to iTunes along with the music.
You can also take advantage of Kaleidescape's user-defined collections, which offer both flexibility and simplicity in choosing which music to synchronize. These user-defined collections may contain albums, Mix Albums, artist or genre selections, or any combination thereof. Artists and genres in a collection update automatically when matching content is imported or deleted from the System. For example, when imported, a jazz album will automatically be added to any user-defined collection that includes the jazz genre. These changes are automatically reflected in the synchronized iTunes copies.
It's also worth noting that Kaleidescape Mix Albums are represented as playlists in iTunes, and changes made to Mix Albums will be reflected in synchronized iTunes playlists.
